Indian Spices: Marvelous Masalas Workshop

This month’s workshops are about spices and sauces.

How It Works

  1. You gather 4 to 10 friends (including yourself).
  2. I arrive in your kitchen with all ingredients and equipment.
  3. Together we make either homemade spice blends or scratch-made sauces. I teach you my tricks and tips for getting the most flavor out of every variation.
  4. We eat what we create. From the spice workshop, you take home your own spice blends to keep using in your kitchen.

Feeling Saucy: Sauce Basics and Variations Workshop

  • Three broad sauce groups: emulsion, roux, and reduction
  • How to make each type of sauce
  • My tips and tricks for tasty sauces
  • My favorite ways to use them
