Garlic

Over at Clean Plates, I share my tips for preserving garlic whole, in the freezer, and of course pickled. Garlic Presses

My latest for The Spruce Eats also focuses on garlic, this time on tools that quickly mince the cloves. I tested all seven presses in the roundup and share my pros and cons for each. As someone who typically reaches for a knife to mince garlic, I was surprised by how much I liked using some of these tools. If you keep a garlic press in your kitchen that you rarely use or struggle with, you might find an idea to add to your holiday wish list. Most are affordable enough and small enough to consider as a stocking stuffer for the chef in your house. Learn more about the year’s best garlic presses here.
