Twice as Tasty

This isn’t the first time I’ve written about freezers or my favorite kitchen tools that make it easy to store and use frozen food. For Greatist, I wrote about all of the things I manage to store in my little chest freezer, from homegrown vegetables to balls of sourdough pizza dough to pot stickers. While testing numerous ice trays for the Spruce Eats, I discovered that silicone trays are far easier to use than stiff plastic ones, and I now own several in cube sizes ranging from 1 to 2 ounces for Grilled Tomato Pizza Sauce to a full cup for Homemade Vegetable Stock. I’ve also researched freezer containers, described my beloved ice cream scoop, and written articles with freezer-friendly recipes for Taste of Home.
