I’m excited to announce the launch of Twice as Tasty Live, a new segment of this blog project. Twice as Tasty Live incorporates the already popular workshops and expands to other events that put me in your kitchen, making and sharing delicious, homemade food.

Twice as Tasty Live events are hosted in private homes among friends. Whether you want to learn a new food technique, host a unique gathering, enjoy live music in an intimate setting, or all of the above, there’s a Twice as Tasty event for you.

As host, you choose the event—workshop, house concert, dinner, or my services as a recipe developer and private chef for your special occasion. Then you simply gather your friends and welcome them to your kitchen and home. I handle the rest: all food planning, shopping, preparation, serving, and cleanup.

Although this blog has the advantage of easily reaching people around the world, live events emphasize many tenets of Twice as Tasty food, including local sources. Already, I’m forming relationships with purveyors including Flathead Fish and Seafood Co., Steeps Tea, and Waxwing Coffee Roasters. Twice as Tasty is also working with local musicians, including Erica von Kleist and Mike Eldred. And that’s just for the first Twice as Tasty Live event. I can’t wait to see what happens as the project grows, incorporating more local resources and talent, teaming with nonprofits and other community organizations, and taking the adventure on the road.
